Our History

The principals of the Futcher-Henry Group have enjoyed many years of service in the Kelso-Longview community:

1987 - Jerri Henry moves to town to continue her professional career with a local firm.

1993 - David Futcher joins Davis & Associates

1997 - Jerri strikes out on her own, forming the firm Jerri J. Henry, PS

2000 - 2001 - David becomes a partner in Davis, Futcher & Associates, then buys out his partner

2004 - Jerri and David merge their firms to form the Futcher-Henry CPA Group

Our Team

  • David Futcher, CPA Managing Shareholder

    Specializing in the accounting and auditing side of the practice, David enjoys assisting clients with consulting regarding business transitions and other similar transactions. David is also the mayor of Kelso, and spends as much time as possible with his two sons and wife, Valorie.

  • Jerri Henry, CPA Shareholder

    With an extensive background in taxation, Jerri coordinates the income tax preparation portion of the practice. Whether you need individual, corporate, partnership, estate or trust work done, Jerri and our staff will help make sure your returns are done right. Married to Butch with two grown sons, Jerri enjoys spending her spare time in central Oregon or on the golf course, or sometimes both.

  • Diane Falkenstein, CPA Senior Accountant

    Diane administers the firm's quality control system, reviewing each financial statement project to ensure the highest standards of financial reporting are met. Diane and her husband enjoy traveling to interesting places around the country and beyond.

  • Kerry Riley Staff Accountant

    Kerry's efforts are focused on providing tax and bookkeeping services to our clients. Her experience and continuing education in taxation ensure that she is ready to help you with your tax questions. Kerry has two sons and a daughter.

  • Karyn Liljedahl Staff Accountant

    Karyn has worked for years as an internal accountant for our clients and now brings her skills to public accounting. She works with financial statement engagements, but her first love is cleaning your books. Karyn and her husband make sure to keep up with the Huskies whenever possible.

  • Cathy Usher Administrative Assistant

    Cathy is the smiling face you'll see when you visit, or hear on the phone. Cathy makes sure that the firm's image is ever-professional. Cathy and her husband recently completed a log cabin in the country, with room for all of their animals.
